Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course Joining Guide
After FSC (Pre-Engineering) One of the best opportunities for students to apply for Army Technical Cadet Course or PMA Long Course. According to this procedure of PAK Army TCC, you will become an engineer as well as an army officer. The eligibility criteria are the same as for an Army officer.
Preliminary Selection For Army Technical Cadet Course
In the initial test at AS & RC asked questions will be related to Intelligence and Academics as given below.

This Army Technical Cadet Course test will be more difficult than the test for ordinary cadets. Without good preparation, you will not be able to go beyond that. Candidates will be shortlisted based on this initial test. Shortlisted students will be called for

Selected candidates of Army Technical Cadet Course will be called for ISSB. Your detailed exam will be taken at ISSB in particular. Eligibility Conditions
- Age: The age range will be reduced from 17 to 21 years (3 months less or more).
- Gender: Male
- Marital status: Unmarried
- Nationality: Be a citizen of Pakistan and in the final election, a candidate with second citizenship will have to renounce other citizenship besides Pakistan.

- Minimum height: (162.5 cm) 5 feet 4 inches
- Weight: As per body mass index

They passed at least 65% marks. Candidates who have passed FSC (Part-I) with 65% marks and are appearing for the FSC Part-II examination should attach the Hope Certificate issued by the college’s principal on behalf of their college.

Note:-
The candidate must send the roll number slip of the Board of Education’s FSC (Part Two). The candidate should send the result card/marks sheet within one week of the result being out from the Board of Education, otherwise, the candidate will not be included in the final merit list of Army Technical Cadet Course. All these tasks are to be done by the candidate himself.

Preliminary Registration Procedure
Candidates can register online or by visiting the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC).
Preliminary Selection
IQ / Written Test: Candidates who will pass the IQ test (Intelligence Test). Their English, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and Computer Studies Multi-answer questions will be started based on MCQs. And the successful candidate will be called for a Physical test and Medical test.
Physical Test: Candidates will have to pass the following physical tests.
- 1.6 km run 8 minutes
- 15 push 2 minutes
- 20 sets 2 minutes
- 3 minutes 2 minutes
- Ditch Crossing (length 7 x 7 feet, depth 4 feet)
Initial medical examination: The initial medical examination will be held at the Army Selection and Recruitment Center.
Further selection
Only shortlisted candidates of Army Technical Cadet Course will be called for the ISSB test through the website and call letter. Candidates recommended by ISSB will undergo a final Medical examination at the nearest CMH. The final selection of a candidate will be based on the overall performance at General Headquarters GHQ.
The decision of GHQ in Allocation of Departments will be final and no application will be considered in respect of the Allocation of Assigned Sector.

Degree Program
The duration of the degree program will be 4 years.
Military Training
After completing the Bachelor (Engineering degree) the cadets will be given one-year military training at PMA Kakul.
Required Documents At The Army Selection And Recruitment Centers
At the time of registration/initial Test Day, bring the following certificates and a set of copies of the:
- Matric detailed mark sheet / ‘O-Level’ ‘A-Level’ of FSC or equivalent certificate/equivalent certificate issued by IBCC must be submitted.
- Computerized ID card for persons 18 years of age and above or Computerized Form ‘B’ with guardian (parent ID Card) for persons under 18 years of age.
- A set of certified copies (both ways) of the above documents.
- 3x Color images attested by principal / Class Gazetted Officer (one from the front and two from back)
- Not Recommended original later and three photocopies of ISSB not recommended later.
Note:- Candidates recommended by ISSB who have not been finally selected for entry will be considered for the accompanying PMA Long Course Entry (provided the candidate agrees and the criteria of eligibility and conditions are met) interested candidates must submit a certificate with the application form.
